Bullying Crisis in Educational System

And also fellow friends from the other school in South Kalimantan

All praises to Allah the lord of the univers because of his gratitude we can gather here in speech competition of English Camp 2015. Salutation and salvation to our prophet Muhammad saw and also for his followers until the end of the day.

I would like to deliver my speech about education, bullying crisis in educational system.

Ladies and gentlemen, in the world there are many educational issues and one of them is bullying. Bullying has been our issues for years. Bullying happens in all level of school, from primary, middle and high school. And this problem seems cannot be eradicated from our life and society. If there's something coming out, surely there is bad impact and good impact, including bullying itself. Most people might see bullying is always giving bad impact to society. Actually there are also good impacts of bullying itself. So, I would like to tell you about the bad and good impact of bullying. First, I will expand the bad impact of bullying based on society and government point of view.

                                                                                         

Bullying impact both phisically and psychologically. From phisically, the victims get violent beatings and make them must go to the hospital. For examhple like Amanda Seyfield, 16 years old girl in The United States, she gets violent from her friends and makes her rushed to the hospital and unfortunately she has to face her death because of bullying. From the psychologically, for example like verbal bullying, most of the victims even do not want to go to school anymore because they're afraid if they go, they will get bully. If they do not want to school anymore, let's think about their future and their life. Surely it gives bad impact to themself either.

In society point of view, bullying considered as an usual phenomena where they do not pay attention much. Bullying is happening inside the society. And unfortunately the society even do not realize they have done bullying. Bullying is kind of hidden in our society life. Not to mention the phisically one but the psychologically one like verbal bullying, they do it not realizing that they are doing bully.

Ladies and gentlement

In the government point of view, bullying has considered as the major problem in educational sector. The government itself has applied some regulations to prevent bullying issues. For example in school's policy or regulation. Students who caught doing bully will get punishments such as decrement points, scorsing and doing works in school.

Those are bad impact of bullying. Now, I want to tell you the good impact of bullying. Not all of people take bullying as a serious deal to their life. Some of them even make those bullies as their motivation to do better, to be stronger and try harder to achieve their dreams.

In the real case is like former president of USA, Bill Clinton case. He used to dubbed as a fat boy and have bad taste of fashion. He once gets punch on his face of his bad-fashioned jeans but he doesn't want to fall and punch back. "I knew I was able to hit back, but there were many options to fight aggressiveness.", he said in one of his biography. Let's see now, he rises and became president of USA. He proved to his friends that he could do it more than his friends.

I hope everyone be positive thinkers not negative thinker. The way we see bullying based on our own opinion. If we see things positively, it will give good impact to us but if we see negatively instead, it will give bad impact to us.

The solution of bullying is by stopping it. Every person must take their part to stop bullying. But the condition right now, the society want changes but they do not want to change. So all of these problems, every problem on the planet including bullying, the real solution to eradicate it is based in ourselves. Whether we want to change or not. Whether we want to stop it or now. So, it's based in ourselves.

The old man once said, “Fall one time and stand up two times.” It means that do not ever give up to every problem. Rise up and give the morld provement that we can be a better and stronger person.

Tentang Pengungsi Dunia

Menurut Konvensi Pengungsi 1951 yang diselenggarakan oleh Komisi Tinggi PBB untuk Pengungsi (United Nation High Comission for Refugee), yang dimaksud dengan pengungsi adalah seseorang yang karena ketakutan atas penganiayaan karena alasan ras, agama, kebangsaan, anggota dari kelompok sosial tertentu atau pandangan politik, yang berada di luar negara asalnya dan tidak dapat atau karena kecemasan tersebut, tidak mau membela negara itu; atau yang tidak memiliki kewarganegaraan dan berada di luar negara bekas tempat tinggalnya karena suatu kejadian, tidak mampu atau karena takut, tidak ingin kembali ke sana.

Faktor penyebab pengungsi terbanyak adalah karena terjadinya konflik seperti perang saudara akibat gerakan separatisme di negara asal mereka. Selain itu, faktor bencana alam seperti tsunami, gempa bumi, gunung meletus, dan lain-lain juga merupakan penyebab adanya pengungsi yang meninggalkan negara mereka. Tercatat juga pengungsi yang diakibatkan oleh bencana non-alam, seperti kebocoran reaktor nuklir pada tahun 1986 di Chernobyl, Uni Soviet.

Per 1 Januari 2007, Komisi Tinggi PBB untuk Pengungsi melaporkan sejumlah 21.018.589 orang di dunia menjadi pengungsi.  Di antaranya adalah 7.979.251 pengungsi dari daerah Asia (Timur Tengah, Asia Tenggara, Asia Tengah, Asia Selatan dan Oceania), 4.740.392 pengungsi dari daerah Eropa (Eropa Timur, Eropa Tenggara, Eropa Tengah, Negara-Negara Balkan dan Eropa Barat), 5.069.123 pengungsi dari daerah Afrika (Afrika Tengah, Afrika Timur, Afrika Barat, Afrika Selatan dan Afrika Utara) dan 3.229.822 pengungsi dari Amerika (Amerika Utara, Kepulauan Karibia dan Amerika Selatan).

Pengungsi dari Asia (khususnya Timur Tengah) lebih memilih negara-negara Eropa dari pada negara terdekatnya karena mereka takut adanya infiltrasi ideologi di tengah pengungsi. Selain itu, ada beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan mereka memilih negara-negara Eropa, antara lain demokrasi yang kuat, sejarah panjang penerimaan pengungsi dan terpenting adalah stabilitas ekonomi karena pengungsi cenderung memilih suatu negara yang bisa menjamin atau menopang hidup mereka dengan nyaman, tidak seperti negara yang ditinggalkan mereka. Faktor demografi juga menjadi pertimbangan pengungsi dan juga Komisi Tinggi PBB untuk Pengungsi dalam memilih tujuan. Hal ini dikarenakan jumlah penggungsi yang berjuta-juta sehingga memerlukan wilayah yang luas pula.

Bantuan untuk para pengungsi berbagai macam jenisnya, mulai dari dana hingga keramah-tamahan warga negara penerima pengungsi. Untuk bantuan dana, Komisi Tinggi PBB untuk Pengungsi pada tahun 2009 telah menerima $1,2 milyar dan laporan terakhir pada tahun 2013 sebanyak $1,1 milyar telah disumbangkan untuk pengungsi yang datang dari berbagai belahan dunia. Komisi Tingggi PBB untuk Pengungsi juga menyediakan 703 sekolah yang memiliki sekitar 476.323 murid yang tersebar di berbagai titik pengungsian untuk membantu anak-anak dan juga remaja agar bisa terus melanjutkan pendidikan mereka. Sebanyak 139 fasilitas kesehatan yang dibantu oleh lebih dari 3.107 petugas kesehatan juga tersebar di kemah-kemah pengusian guna membantu pengungsi menjaga atau memeriksa kesehatan mereka. Program sosial juga dilaksanakan oleh PBB seperti pemberian bantuan dana dan makanan bagi janda-janda dan keluarga yang memiliki kekurangan fisik maupun mental.
